Despite living in an age of remarkable technological progress and material comfort, many people continue to struggle with stress, anxiety, low mood, worry and low self-esteem. While we often look to external circumstances for happiness, Buddhist wisdom teaches that the real source of lasting happiness and peace lies within our own mind.
Join us for this inspiring 5-week course based on the teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Through practical advice and guided meditations, you will learn simple yet powerful methods for dealing with life’s challenges and developing greater inner peace, resilience and confidence.
As Geshe Kelsang Gyatso explains:
“If our mind is peaceful, we will be happy all the time, regardless of external conditions, but if it is unpeaceful, we will never be happy, no matter how good our external conditions may be.”
Over five weeks, we will explore practical solutions to common modern difficulties such as stress, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem, discovering how to cultivate a happier and more positive state of mind.
Each class includes two guided meditations and an accessible talk suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike.
