Anxiety is becoming a very common symptom of modern life. Many people suffer from anxiety and stress at some time in their life. At times we can struggle to stop worrying β about our family, our finances, world events and a dizzying array of perceived threats to our wellbeing. We try to suppress the discomfort and uncertainty, but remain restless, on edge and unable to relax.
Buddhist teachings offer practical, effective methods to help us let go of this anxiety.
On this day course learn to understand why we develop this habitual and unhelpful response and how we can replace it with a deep sense of peace

The teacher of this day course is Chris Chapman β Chris is the administrative director at Odiyana KMC. He has been a dedicated practitioner for many years and a highly valued and respected member of Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre. He teaches with clarity and deep insight, often touching peopleβs hearts with his understanding.
All our half day courses start at 10am and run until about 1.30pm.
They cost Β£15 per person which includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
