Worry and stress are becoming a very common symptom of modern life. Many people suffer from worry and stress at some time in their life.

Stress is the difference between what we want to happen and what is actually happening. Whether we like it or not it is happening. If we can change things then there is no need to get stressed. If we can’t change things then there is also no point in getting stressed.

On this day course learn to understand why we develop this habitual and unhelpful response and how we can replace it with a deep sense of peace.

The teacher of this day course is Gen Kelsang Chokyong – Chokyong has been the resident teacher at Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre since 2001. He teaches with great humility and humour. He presents Buddha’s teachings in a practical and down to earth manner, making them accessible to everyone.

All our day courses start at 10am and run until about 5pm.
They cost £20 per person.
