A lot of modern problems such as stress, anxiety & low self-esteem come from gripping too tightly onto things. When we do this we get very unhappy. When our mind is light we are happy & relaxed. The real way to find a happy life is to relate to life’s problems in a lighter way
On this day course we will learn how to keep our mind calm and happy even when we are living in very difficult times.

The teacher of this half day course is Gen Kelsang Chokyong – Chokyong has been the resident teacher at Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre since 2001. He teaches with great humility and humour. He presents Buddha’s teachings in a practical and down to earth manner, making them accessible to everyone.
All our meditation workshops start at 10am and run until 12.30pm
They cost £8.50 per person which includes refreshments.
