When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort. Meditation is a way to develop peace within our mind. If we train our mind to be peaceful we shall be happy all the time.
This workshop gives us a change to really immerse ourselves in meditation and discover the joy this can bring.
Suitable for those new to meditation and those with some experience
One of the teachers of this retreat is Belinda Johnson – Belinda is a very dedicated practitioner. She teaches in a gentle and compassionate way.
The other teacher is Julie Forrest – Julie is the Education Programme Co-ordinator for Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre. She is a very powerful teacher whose practical approach makes the teachings accessible to everyone.
All our day courses start promptly at 10am (so please arrive by 9.45am) and run until about 4pm.
They cost £20 per person which includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
